The Story

Always searching for something new, ANAR AITZHANOVA is coming back 2007
with a new project: the idea of trying to approach unknown territory, pleasing melodies and stories with long tradition.

When ANAR AITZHANOVA decided 2006 to do new songs, a decicion was made
to go alternate ways to create something special:

Traditional music is always strong - it has riped through the years, the decades,
the centuries by the people themselves - it gained power through the generations -
only the really good stories, melodies and myths are remembered!
This spiritual power is now - for the first time - captured in the music and the
performances with natural acoustic instruments, traditional DOMBRA playing
and modern production methods.

Together with the renowned remixer/producer GEORG O. LUKSCH (MADONNA, C. AGUILERA, BRITNEY SPEARS, NELLY FURTADO) it was a great experience
to have the spirit of ancient poems together with mystic sounds and orchestra !

Enjoy the combination of the exotic cultures of middle asia and the energy
of modern music production - a way that combines the old with the new,
through generations.

And our foals as well as chicken, they miss you,
And even steppe’s larks, they miss you,
For all of them your children ask about you.

For our brothers have we been support and protection,
We have enjoyed all gladness of life together,

How do I miss you, my people and my land,

And nothing can be comparable to it,
It can fascinate the whole world,

A spring murmurs, a reed sings its songs,
A lark sings with all his craft.
And it is not possible to discover all secrets of universe,
As even simple smell of tulips is full of surprise.

Song "Mama"

Long time ago I had a dream to write a song, dedicated to my mom. One song of mine was already dedicated to my father whom I lost. We are sorrowful and think about those who left us, but what about those who are with us? Who live now and nearby? In this song I wanted to express all feelings and thoughts I have for my mom.

My nephew Aman impressed me with his courage. When he heard about my idea, he offered his help to me. First, the words of the song were born, than after the music came by itself.

I dedicate this song to all mothers. To them who support, protect and let us grow. To them, who carry for and understand us. To them, who love us for what we are and not for what we should be.

I pray for their strength. Every one of them lost some one she loved, a husband, a child. And only a woman has the strength to survive such loss.

Sometimes we, their children, misunderstand them or do not listen to them. Now, when I myself became a mother, I understand all patience and love my mom had for me. I pray to God that our mothers see how strong we love and need them. I thank God for all love and warmth my mother gave to me.

This song was born from the deepness of my heart. Now the time came to present it to you with the hope that you like it.
