CHARITY-DINNER am 1. Mai 2009

"Tengri", Centre of Kazakh Culture in Austria represented by Mrs. Anar Aitzhanova, along with the French Fashion House DIOR organized a charity event for the first time in Vienna, on May 1st. The dinner was accompanied by an extraordinary Pret-a-Portér Show from the 2009/2010 Dior Collection, Paris. Moreover, the newest jewelry collection of 2010 was introduced by the incomparable Victoire de Castellane, that has not been seen in Paris yet, but only among the guests. After the fashion show, the guests had a chance to try on and acquire the pieces from the latest DIOR collelction. 

In the course of the the evening, the Anar Aitzhanova music scholarship students, Peter Nepomuk Schneider and cadidate Ana Turkalj were introduced to the guests. The young musicians entertained and enthused the guests with their musical ability and talent. It was a pleasant surprise for the happy Ana Turkalj to have been awarded the " Anar Aitzhanova music scholarship" this year on a short-term decision thanks to the "Tengri" society, the support of the leading kazakh firm. 

The most important point of the evening was the charity auction, for which the two works of art from DIOR were proceeded to the "Tengri" society and the donation were given to their "group and individual psychotherapy for children with special needs" charity project. The SOS Kinderdorf children's village in Almaty, Kazakhstan carried out a big success witht the running project. 

Thanks to the support of the guests around, Helmut Seitz, the lawyer of the Hasberger & Seitz company  led the charity auction inlcuding the Tombalose. The joy of the guests of Mrs. Aitzhanova was even bigger when the music student Peter N. Schneider won the highest prize of the Tombolalose, - a necklace from DIOR. 

This impressive event took place in the beautiful ambience of the private club „K-47" with a panorama view over Vienna.  The guests were allowed to enjoy the outstanding food from the star cook Reinhard Gerer and slip away in a wonderful atmosphere with the musical accompaniment of the DJ that evening.
